Chrissy Houlahan calls for Signal chat investigation and celebrates West Chester University inauguration

Chrissy Houlahan, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania's 6th district, used her social media platform to discuss significant recent events. On March 31, 2025, she shared her experiences attending the inauguration of the new president of West Chester University and called for action on national security issues.

On March 31, Houlahan attended the inauguration of West Chester University's 16th President, Laurie Bernotsky. Houlahan commented on the new president's long-standing commitment to the university community, stating, "Last Friday, I was honored to attend the inauguration of @wcuofpa West Chester University 16th President Laurie Bernotsky. For nearly 30 years, President Bernotsky has diligently served the WCU community, and she will have an even more profound impact on it in her new role as."

Later that day, Houlahan turned her focus to national security, expressing concerns about an incident involving a Signal group chat. She stated, "I have joined my @HouseIntelDems colleagues in calling on @DNIGabbard to honor the commitment she made directly to me last week to follow the law, and order an independent investigation into the Signal group chat fiasco."

Continuing her advocacy, on April 1, Houlahan reiterated her demand for action regarding the Signal issue by urging the Director of National Intelligence to follow through on the promised investigation. She stated, "Joined my colleagues this morning to ask (again) @DNIGabbard to follow the law as she committed to do last week and conduct an independent investigation into Signal national security fiasco."
