Chrissy Houlahan, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania's 6th district, shared several insights on pressing issues via her social media platform. Her posts reflect on public health concerns, legislative history, and the celebration of Black History Month.

On February 7, 2025, Houlahan addressed a public health issue that she states affects both animals and humans. She pointed out that due to "President Trump's executive orders," the CDC website is outdated, resulting in vital health information being unavailable. She expressed the necessity for change and encouraged contacting the White House to address this matter. "We are closely monitoring this public health situation because it not only impacts our animals but can also spread to humans. Because of President Trump's executive orders, the CDC website is outdated, making vital health information unavailable. This must change."

Later that day, Houlahan reflected on the anniversary of the Family and Medical Leave Act signed into law thirty-two years ago. She emphasized the need for progress towards paid leave while cautioning against regressing from current achievements. "Thirty-two years ago, the Family and Medical Leave Act was signed into law, which gives employees the right to take 'unpaid' leave without getting fired. We still have progress to make to provide actual 'paid' leave for people, but we also cannot go backward."

In her final post of the day during Black History Month celebrations, Houlahan honored educators within her district who contribute to preserving Black American heritage and fostering inclusive environments. She highlighted Darryl Mace for his contributions as Vice President at an educational institution in her district. "During Black History Month, I celebrate black excellence this year with a focus on educators in our district who are helping to preserve the rich heritage of Black Americans and foster diverse and inclusive environments."
