Chrissy Houlahan, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania's 6th district, shared several statements on social media on February 4, 2025. Her tweets addressed topics ranging from international trade agreements to the celebration of Black History Month and honoring historical figures.

In a tweet posted at 14:43 UTC, Houlahan expressed gratitude towards Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for his decision to pause tariffs temporarily. She stated, "And thanks also to @JustinTrudeau for agreeing to pause tariffs for 30 days."

Later that day, at 18:07 UTC, Houlahan turned her attention to domestic issues during Black History Month. She criticized the current administration by stating that President Biden aims to undermine diversity efforts in the United States. She tweeted, "February is Black History Month, dedicated to celebrating Black excellence. Unfortunately, @POTUS wants to erase this history and push us back to a dangerous time in our nation's past. He equates diversity with incompetence, which is just plain racism."

At the same time, she commemorated Rosa Parks on what would have been her 112th birthday by highlighting her perseverance against injustice. Houlahan tweeted, "On what would have been Rosa Park's 112th birthday, I celebrate and honor her example of persistence in the face of inequity and injustice. Happy Black History Month!"
