Chrissy Houlahan, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Pennsylvania's 6th district, shared several updates on social media recently. Her posts included visits to local businesses, announcements about community engagements, and her stance on federal policy changes.

On January 28, 2025, Houlahan visited Pizza West Chester, a popular local pizza shop. She noted the establishment's recent rise in online popularity and commended the founders Speer and Joe for their entrepreneurial efforts in expanding to include two additional restaurant concepts. "Yesterday, I visited Pizza West Chester , a pizza shop that has recently amassed a large online following. It was great meeting the founders Speer and Joe, who have expanded with two other restaurant concepts, one serving cheesesteaks and (opening soon) one serving ice cream."

Later that day, she reminded constituents of her upcoming town hall meeting. Scheduled as her 94th such event, it invites participation both online and over the phone to discuss important issues affecting the community. "Reminder: My 94th town hall is happening tomorrow! Please join me online or over the phone for an important conversation."

In another post on January 28, 2025, Houlahan expressed concern regarding President Trump's executive order to freeze spending on federal grants. Despite a partial hold issued by a federal judge at the time of her post, she emphasized ongoing efforts to assess its implications for her constituency. "Despite the partial hold just handed down by a federal judge, I’m deeply concerned about President Trump's executive order freezing spending on federal grants. We are working to understand what this means for our community and will be sharing more when we have it."
