On Sunday, April 27, former Bayard Rustin High School standout Mairead Hopkins’ current college team, the West Chester Golden Rams, lost 5-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Bloomsburg Huskies.

The game took place at Jan M. Hutchinson Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Huskies this season.

The Golden Rams’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, May 8 at 12:30 p.m. at Creekview Park against Shippensburg Raiders.
