On Friday, March 21, former Downingtown East High School standout Bella Smuda’s current collegiate team the Liberty Lady Flames lost 79-78 against the Kentucky Wildcats in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Memorial Coliseum, this was the first game against the Kentucky Wildcats during the championship.

Bella Smuda’s game position is center.
