Chrissy Houlahan, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 6th district since 2019, has been vocal about various national issues through her social media platform. In a series of tweets, she addresses significant topics including employment at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), national security concerns involving Elon Musk, and tax filing assistance for Pennsylvania residents.

On March 20, 2025, Houlahan expressed concern over plans by the Trump Administration to terminate more than 80,000 employees at the VA. She highlighted that "over 25% of VA employees are veterans themselves" and criticized President Trump's commitment to supporting veterans by stating "President Trump talks a big game about supporting those of us who have served our country".

The following day on March 21, 2025, Houlahan addressed potential risks to national security in light of Elon Musk's involvement with China. She called briefing Musk on defense strategies "reckless," emphasizing the need to protect classified intelligence and urged "@SecDef, do your job".

Later that day, she informed constituents about an available resource for tax filing. Highlighting the IRS Direct File tool supported by Pennsylvania as "simple and FREE," she encouraged individuals to check their eligibility in order to save time and money this tax season. She provided a link for further information: "Go to https://t.co/I5UNTwJc2e".
