Chrissy Houlahan, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 6th district, shared several statements on social media addressing various national issues. Houlahan has been serving in Congress since 2019 after succeeding Ryan Costello. Her background includes a degree from Stanford University and she resides in Devon.

On March 11, 2025, Houlahan criticized Elon Musk while praising Senator Mark Kelly's service to the nation. She stated, "@SenMarkKelly has served our nation in the Navy, in outer space, and now in Congress. Elon Musk has done nothing in service to America and is actively working to dismantle it, weaken it, and hand the pieces to our adversaries. He is the real traitor and needs to be stopped."

Later that day, Houlahan addressed Social Security deductions from American paychecks over decades. She remarked on its importance as an entitlement program by stating: "For 89 years, Americans have had money deducted from their paychecks and deposited for them into Social Security to provide them with income when they no longer work. It's an entitlement program because Americans are entitled to the money they themselves have contributed to the…"

In another post on March 11, Houlahan expressed her opposition to a proposed resolution by Republicans regarding government funding. She explained her stance by saying: "Today, I voted NO on the Republicans’ reckless and dangerous “Continuous Resolution” (CR) to fund the government. This bill would eliminate billions of dollars from veterans services and medical research, cut funding for critical local services including our own law enforcement…"
