The WCUCO opens its 2021-22 season with a program of immense variety including George Walker’s gripping Lyric, Caroline Shaw’s colorful Entr’acte, and music of Handel’s Op. 6 Concerto Grossi. As usual, this will be performed in the beautiful Philips Autograph

Library, living room style.

This ensemble performs twice a semester, once as a strings only ensemble, and once with a compliment of woodwinds, brass, and percussion. Guest faculty and outside soloists are often featured. Every spring, this ensemble serves also as the opera orchestra.
