Honeybrook Township issued the following announcement.
Board of Supervisors Regular Meeting
December 9 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Held the second Wednesday of the month, February through December. The January meeting is held in accordance with Commonwealth statute, when all municipalities must have their Re-Organizaation meeting, on the first business Monday (or Tuesday, if Monday is a holiday) of the year.
This particular meeting will hold a public hearing to consider, discuss, and adopt the Draft 2020 Honey Brook Township Comprehensive Recreation, Parks, Open Space and Greenways Plan. It is available for public review and comment on the Planning Documents page of the Honey Brook Township website. This Plan will be adopted as an addition to the Honey Brook Borough and Township Multi-Municipal Comprehensive Plan.
This Plan was prepared with the assistance of a Task Force made up of all members of the Recreation and Parks Board together with representation from the Township Planning Commission, Twin Valley School District, Honey Brook Community Library, Honey Brook Businesses, and the Honey Brook Community Partnership. The project received funding assistance from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR).
