Lincoln University issued the following announcement.

The Office of Financial Aid encourages students to submit their Free Application for Federal Student Aid at studentaid.gov or via the MyStudentAid mobile app.

“Filing your 2021-2022 FAFSA early is so important, even more so with the COVID-19 pandemic," said Kim Anderson, Financial Aid director. "When students file their FAFSA early, they open themselves up to more funding opportunities as these awards are on a first-come, first-served basis.” 

Financial Aid offers these tips to complete the FAFSA  quickly:

• Remember your FSA ID(s)
  • Your parents will need their own FSA ID to sign your 21-22 FAFSA. Your FSA ID acts as a digital signature.
• Use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool (DRT) for your 2019 Tax Information
• Submit with both student and parent signatures

The Office of Financial Aid staff members are available for assistance and will have extended meeting hours during the week of October 5 through October 9 specifically to help students complete their 2021-2022 FAFSA. Students can request an in-person meeting or a Zoom meeting by using the Financial Aid Calendly.
