DELAWARE COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE: The College Offers Safe, Affordable Education and Training Opportunities Primarily Online This Fall. Now is the Time to Register for Fall Sessions

Register

Delaware County Community College issued the following announcement.

The time to enroll in fall semester classes is now, and Delaware County Community College is ready to assist students in registering, either virtually or in-person. Because of COVID-19 safety precautions, the College will offer most of its classes remotely or online this fall. The College has offered online classes for more than 20 years and is ready to help students who are unsure about their college plans this fall. Students can earn transferable credits from the safety of their home and receive a quality, online learning experience.

Virtual Registration

The College offers Virtual Registration Days, from Saturday, August 15 through Wednesday, August 26 (except Sundays), that enable prospective students to apply, take a placement test, participate in an online mandatory new student orientation, register and meet with an advisor, all in a single online or phone visit. To save time, prospective students are encouraged to apply, placement test and complete an orientation, all online, prior to calling in for Virtual Registration. To participate in a Virtual Registration Day, call 610-723-2000 or email registernow@dccc.edu. For more information and to view a virtual registration checklist, visit dccc.edu/virtual-registration.

Limited In-Person Services

Although some of the College’s physical locations are open with limited services, it is recommended that students take advantage of the virtual enrollment services. If students opt to visit a College location in person, a face covering, social distancing and an on-site health screening are required. Wait times may be extensive because of the College’s mandatory safety and cleaning protocols.

The following services are available in-person on a limited basis: applying, advising, financial aid and payment. Placement testing is available remotely on a rolling basis, as well as limited in-person placement testing (with live or virtual proctors) at select locations. Students who plan to visit in-person should call 610-723-2000 to ensure the services needed are offered at the location, date and time of your planned visit.

The last day to register for Fall (full term) and Fall 7-Week A classes is Wednesday, August 26.
