LINCOLN UNIVERSITY: Campus Anticipates Return Of Students, Provides Clearance And Move in Guidance

Backtoschool

Lincoln University issued the following announcement.

Lincoln University faculty and staff are preparing to welcome new and select returning students to campus. New student move-in will take place on August 22 and returning students who have applied to live on campus and have been approved will move in on August 23. Classes begin for all students on August 17.  The University has prepared a new reopening plan FAQ page to assist students and their families with navigating this year's process.

Clearance

To move in, new students must be cleared both financially and through health services. All students received emails regarding clearance. Students are encouraged to review their clearance status in WebAdvisor. To complete the clearance process, new students may also visit financial aid, bursar’s office for payment or payment plans, and health services. Remote support from staff is available virtually Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Students who will register and study remote for fall 2020 should visit the Bursar’s website for clearance information.

Move-In

Student communication will come from Residence Life with hall assignments and move-in details.

The Office of Residence Life encourages students to check their Lincoln University email address for answers to many move-in questions. Students can find answers to many common residence hall questions such as standard room furnishings, recommended and prohibited items, and roommate assignments on the Residence Life FAQ page.

New students who follow the Lion Card steps on the welcome page will receive their Lion Card during the check-in process. Others will have the opportunity to get their Lion Card after move-in.

Virtual Student Orientation

New student orientation and transition week started Monday and continues through move-in on August 22 and will include testing, course placement, advising, registration, and host of curricular and co-curricular activities.

Students should download the Whova app and participate in the student portal to view the schedule, speakers, and more.
