Immaculata Univeristy issued the following announcement on May 14
Dear Students,
The long challenging spring semester is over, and I hope this email finds that you and your families are healthy and safe.
As mentioned in my last campus update, the COVID-19 Emergency Assistance Fund (CARES ACT) helps with education-related expenses associated with the disruption of campus operations due to COVID-19. The Department of Education notified the University that our funding from the CARES Act is now available. This includes funds from the Higher Education Relief Fund designated for Student Aid. 100% of this funding will provide emergency financial assistance for our students.
Immaculata students enrolled in any of the three colleges who are Title IV eligible and have expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to COVID-19 may be eligible for these funds. The requirements include:
- Students must be enrolled in the 2020 spring semester in a degree seeking program. *Students enrolled in 100% online programs prior to March 13, 2020 are not eligible.
- Students must make satisfactory academic progress.
- Students must be federally eligible and have completed the 2019-2020 FAFSA. If you have not already done so, you will need to complete the 2019-2020 FAFSA at www.fafsa.gov by June 19, 2020 to be considered for this funding.
The disbursement of this funding will be made to all eligible students by the end of July, 2020.
