East Fallowfield Township issued the following announcement.
East Fallowfield Township is reminding residents that East Fallowfield Township's Shared Compost Yard at 2240 Upper Gap Rd in South Coatesville is closed to the public due to the Governor's 'Stay at Home' Order and will remain closed until further notice.
Please note there will be no drop off service of yard waste/brush at the shared compost yard on Saturday April 11, 2020 as previously scheduled.
Township residents still have the option of curbside yard waste/brush collection at their home. The next collection date is Monday, May 4, 2020. However, please note that due to safety concerns related to COVID-19, only limited/small amounts of brush can be picked up at any location.
Limbs/branches shall be not more than six feet in length.
No single piece shall be more than four inches in diameter.
Tree and Shrub trimmings only; No Vines.
Trimmings, which include vines, will not be picked up.
All trimmings must be piled next to the curb or at the end of the driveway.
Trimmings should be piled neatly with the cutoff ends pointed toward the curb.
Township equipment and employees will not come on private property to remove trimmings.
Please note that collection of yard waste is FREE for the first 15 minutes. however, the township charges $30 for each additional 15 minutes of work (The Township will contact you for permission to collect yard waste after 15 minutes). Please call the Township office at 610-635-6077 by Thursday, April 30 at 2:00 p.m. to schedule a brush pickup or for more information.
