On Saturday, March 15, former Bishop Shanahan High School standout Jake McCarter’s current college team, the High Point Panthers, won 8-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Charleston Southern Buccaneers.
The game took place at Coy O. Williard Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Buccaneers this season.
The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 4 p.m. at Walter C. Latham Park against Elon Phoenix.
