On Wednesday, March 12, former Coatesville Area Senior High School standout Emma Friel’s current college team, the Goldey-Beacom Lightning, lost 4-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Ferris State Bulldogs.

The game took place at USSSA Space Coast Complex. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Lightning’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 1 p.m. at Jackson Athletic Complex against Caldwell Cougars.
