Chrissy Houlahan, U.S. Congresswoman representing Pennsylvania’s 6th district since 2019, shared a series of updates on her social media accounts in early April 2026, highlighting local events, expressing gratitude for care workers, and addressing economic concerns.
On April 9, Houlahan wrote about a local museum exhibit: “On display through May 17, the Reading Public Museum’s Towers of Tomorrow is a fantastic exhibit exploring the construction of some of the world’s most impressive skyscrapers – all with LEGO bricks! I’m glad I got the chance to see it in person during a recent day in Berks”.
The following day, she acknowledged those working in caregiving professions. On April 10 she posted: “From child care, to home health, to serving those with disabilities, care workers come in many forms and are essential members of our communities. This month, we extend a heartfelt thank you to those who provide care and support for our loved ones!”
Later that same day, Houlahan commented on rising costs and political response: “The numbers don’t lie: since last year, total inflation is up 3%, electricity is up 5%, and gas is up 19%. Americans are struggling, yet Republicans are refusing to take action.”
Houlahan was born at Naval Air Station Patuxent River in Maryland in 1967 and currently resides in Devon. She graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1989.
