Chrissy Houlahan, a U.S. Congress member representing Pennsylvania’s 6th district since 2019, shared several updates on social media recently. Her posts address both community engagement and national issues.
On June 3, 2025, Houlahan invited the public to join an event by sharing a link on Twitter. The post read: “Join us! https://t.co/eyDfdpWtnc”.
Later that day, she shared another tweet quoting someone else with the phrase: “What he said , accompanied by two links presumably directing followers to additional content.
In her final tweet of the day, Houlahan criticized a decision involving the renaming of ships under President Trump’s administration. She stated: “We need @SecDef to focus on threats to our national security instead of wasting time, talent and national treasure to rename ships because President Trump wants to erase gay, black and brown people from American history. Kicking off this petty hate campaign during Pride”.
Chrissy Houlahan was born in Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland in 1967 and currently resides in Devon. She graduated from Stanford University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
