Chrissy Houlahan, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 6th district since 2019, recently shared her thoughts on various issues through a series of tweets. Houlahan, who succeeded Ryan Costello, has been vocal about matters ranging from antisemitism to government actions and family leave policies.
On May 22, 2025, Houlahan expressed her sorrow over the loss of young lives due to violence. She emphasized the need for unity in combating antisemitism and stated that “violence must not find safe harbor in America.” The full statement can be accessed here.
The following day, on May 23, 2025, Houlahan criticized recent actions by the Trump Administration in an episode titled “Law(less) + (Dis)Order(ly) Episode 15.” She remarked that none of these actions contribute to national safety or prosperity. Chrissy Houlahan was born in Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland in 1967 and currently resides in Devon. She graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1989.
