Chrissy Houlahan, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Pennsylvania’s 6th district since 2019, has publicly criticized decisions made by the Trump administration regarding military operations and treatment of servicemembers in a series of posts on her social media account.

On September 3, 2025, Houlahan addressed the relocation of the U.S. Space Command from Colorado to Alabama. She stated, “President Trump’s decision to move the U.S. Space Command from Colorado to Alabama jeopardizes military readiness and is a waste of billions of our taxpayer dollars. The infrastructure, troops and topography in Colorado have been in place and are fully operational today. That is”.

The following day, on September 4, 2025, Houlahan commented on efforts in Congress to scrutinize actions taken against non-citizen members of the military and their families during the Trump administration. She wrote, “Yesterday, I joined my colleagues in both the House and Senate in calling for an investigation into the Trump Administration’s arrest, detention, and deportation of non-citizen servicemembers, veterans, and military families. We are betraying the very people who volunteer to”.

Chrissy Houlahan was born at Naval Air Station Patuxent River in Maryland in 1967 and currently resides in Devon. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Stanford University in 1989.

Her remarks reflect ongoing debates about national security priorities and immigration policies affecting members of the armed forces.
