Chrissy Houlahan, U.S. Congresswoman representing Pennsylvania’s 6th district since 2019, posted a series of updates on her official Twitter account addressing local events and community initiatives.
On March 9, 2026, Houlahan expressed condolences following the death of a Pennsylvania State Police trooper. She wrote, “I am so sad to learn of the fatal shooting of a PA State Police trooper last night. Our law enforcement officers bravely enter the field knowing their lives are on the line, but no one expects the next call to be their last. I am keeping Corporal O’Connor’s young family close to”.
The following day, March 10, she reminded constituents about an upcoming deadline for student participation in a federal art competition: “The deadline to register for the Congressional Art Competition is this Thursday, March 12! Find out how to register at the link in my bio. https://t.co/tNzpz5alJR”.
Later that same day, Houlahan highlighted recent federal funding secured for her district: “In my last newsletter, I shared that we secured $12 million in community project funding for 14 different projects right here in Chester and Berks Counties, allowing federal dollars to have a targeted, tangible impact in our community. Find the list of awardees at the link”.
Houlahan has represented Pennsylvania’s 6th District since replacing Ryan Costello in 2019 and resides in Devon. Born at Naval Air Station Patuxent River in Maryland in 1967, she graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1989.
