Chrissy Houlahan, U.S. Congresswoman representing Pennsylvania’s 6th district since 2019, shared a series of posts on her social media account in early January 2026. The messages ranged from holiday greetings to commentary on historical events and current political issues.
On January 1, Houlahan posted a message to her constituents: “Happy New Year, PA-06! https://t.co/Rgc6eEpDW2” (January 1, 2026).
Later that day, she reflected on the anniversary of a pivotal moment in American history: “On this day 163 years ago, President Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation, a first step toward ending slavery in the United States. We must always remember our history – and never allow it to be erased or minimized.” (January 1, 2026).
Two days later, Houlahan addressed national policy concerns and foreign affairs. She wrote: “We need President Trump to focus on the crucial issues affecting Americans. He and his administration need to attack increasingly high prices, our unstable economy and the healthcare crisis.
Instead they have attacked an oil-rich country and are planning to “manage” it. This is https://t.co/GUMJqzSE1J” (January 3, 2026).
Houlahan has represented Pennsylvania’s 6th District since replacing Ryan Costello in Congress in 2019. Born at Naval Air Station Patuxent River in Maryland in 1967 and currently residing in Devon, she graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1989.
