Chrissy Houlahan, U.S. Congresswoman representing Pennsylvania’s 6th district since 2019, posted a series of updates on her social media account on February 25, 2026, addressing public health and political issues.
On February 25, Houlahan informed constituents about a confirmed case of measles in Chester County. She wrote, “The PA Dept. of Health has confirmed at least one case of measles in Chester County. This is a serious, highly infectious, and potentially life-threatening disease for those who are unvaccinated. Your healthcare provider and some pharmacies can quickly and easily administer the” (posted at 19:23 UTC).
Later that day, she commented on national leadership and referenced historical warnings from George Washington. In her post at 20:13 UTC, Houlahan stated, “Governor Spanberger is right. We must continue to push our nation forward, even in the face of the ‘cunning, ambitious and unprincipled leaders’ George Washington warned us about. We must demand more of our nation and its leaders.”
At 22:30 UTC on the same day, Houlahan addressed claims made by President Trump during the State of the Union regarding voter fraud and proposed legislation. She posted: “Last night during the State of the Union, President Trump claimed the SAVE America Act will stop ‘illegal immigrants from voting.’ Here are the facts: Voter fraud in U.S. federal elections is extraordinarily rare, between 0.0003% and 0.0025% of votes cast, according to the”.
Houlahan was born in Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland in 1967 and currently resides in Devon. She graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1989.
