Chrissy Houlahan, U.S. Congresswoman representing Pennsylvania’s 6th district since 2019, addressed a range of topics in recent posts on her official Twitter account.
On April 5, 2026, Houlahan extended holiday greetings to her constituents and followers by posting, “A very happy Easter to all that observe!”
The following day, she commented on the ongoing conflict involving the United States and Iran under President Trump’s administration. In a post dated April 6, 2026, Houlahan stated, “With no end in sight to President Trump’s war of choice in Iran, Pennsylvanians are immediately feeling the effects of higher gas prices. I urge the administration to bring this war to an end now.”
Later that same day, Houlahan recognized achievements within her district’s educational community. She wrote on April 6, 2026: “Congratulations to the students and staff at Reading High School who cut the ribbon on the brand new Innovation Academy! This 144,000 square foot STEM facility will serve 1,000 students, emphasizing smaller group instruction and dramatically decreasing the population of the”
Houlahan has represented Pennsylvania’s 6th District since succeeding Ryan Costello in 2019. Born at Naval Air Station Patuxent River in Maryland in 1967 and currently residing in Devon, she graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1989.
