Chrissy Houlahan, U.S. Congresswoman representing Pennsylvania’s 6th district since 2019, has recently posted a series of messages on social media addressing key issues affecting her constituents and the broader public.
On November 3, 2025, Houlahan expressed concern about rising healthcare costs and the potential impact of expiring Affordable Care Act tax credits. She stated, “This is exactly what Democrats are fighting to prevent. These astronomical price hikes will be devastating for people across PA if we don’t extend the ACA tax credits.”
Later that day, Houlahan recognized Military Family Month by highlighting the challenges faced by military families. In her post, she wrote, “November is Military Family Month – a time to share the stories and honor the sacrifices of our military families stationed across the world. To be a part of a military family is to live with a certain level of uncertainty. But no one signs up for the threat of missed paychecks”.
On November 4, 2025, coinciding with Election Day in Pennsylvania, Houlahan encouraged voter participation. She reminded residents: “It’s election day, PA! If you haven’t voted already, make sure you get out today and exercise your right. Polls are open from 7 AM – 8 PM. For help locating your polling place, visit the link in my bio.”
Houlahan has represented Pennsylvania’s 6th District in Congress since replacing Ryan Costello in 2019. Born at Naval Air Station Patuxent River in Maryland in 1967 and currently residing in Devon, she graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1989.
