Chrissy Houlahan, U.S. Congresswoman representing Pennsylvania’s 6th district since 2019, addressed recent legal developments and economic issues in a series of tweets on February 11, 2026.
In her first post, Houlahan commented on a grand jury decision, stating: “This is good news for the Constitution and the free speech protections it guarantees. The grand jury upheld the rule of law – this is a win for all Americans.” (February 11, 2026).
Later that day, she referenced an unsuccessful attempt by President Trump’s Department of Justice to indict her: “Yesterday, President Trump’s DOJ tried and failed to indict me for restating the law. Today, as we celebrate the win for free speech, I’m putting this distraction behind us and getting back to the real work at hand.” (February 11, 2026).
Addressing economic concerns in a third tweet posted hours later, Houlahan announced a new legislative initiative: “From groceries to energy bills to childcare, everything is too expensive – but it doesn’t have to be this way. I’m proud to launch our New Dem Affordability Agenda, offering the tangible, practical, doable solutions we all deserve.” (February 11, 2026).
Houlahan has served in Congress since succeeding Ryan Costello in 2019. She was born at Naval Air Station Patuxent River in Maryland in 1967 and currently resides in Devon. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Stanford University.
