Chrissy Houlahan, U.S. Congresswoman representing Pennsylvania’s 6th district since 2019, made several public statements on social media addressing recent events in Congress and her legislative actions.
On February 11, 2026, Houlahan commented on the Department of Justice’s decision not to indict her over a video produced with colleagues. She stated, “Last night, the DOJ failed to indict me for restating the law in a video my colleagues and I made in November. This is a victory– not for me, but for all Americans.”
Responding directly to Speaker Johnson on February 12, 2026, she posted: “A direct response to @SpeakerJohnson: my service to our country is what allows you to speak freely, even when you’re wrong.”
Later that day, Houlahan addressed her vote against the SAVE Act in the House of Representatives. She urged further opposition by saying: “I voted against the undemocratic SAVE Act in the House, and now, I’m urging my Senate colleagues to do the same. Call your senators and join me in sharing your opposition to this voter suppression bill:”
Chrissy Houlahan has represented Pennsylvania’s 6th District since replacing Ryan Costello in 2019. She was born at Naval Air Station Patuxent River in Maryland and currently resides in Devon. Houlahan graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1989.
