Chrissy Houlahan, a U.S. Congress member representing Pennsylvania’s 6th district since 2019, recently shared her thoughts and activities on social media. Born in 1967 at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland, Houlahan has been an active political figure after succeeding Ryan Costello. She currently resides in Devon and holds a degree from Stanford University.

On June 2, 2025, Houlahan expressed her solidarity with the Boulder community following a violent incident. She stated, “I’m thinking of the people of Boulder today after the community experienced a horrific antisemitic attack. Targeted political violence and antisemitism have no place in a nation that values tolerance, freedom of expression and religious liberty.” This statement underscores her commitment to combating hate.

Later that day, Houlahan announced an opportunity for veterans and their families to join her team in Reading, PA. In her post she mentioned, “We want to add a Green and Gold Congressional Aide to our office in Reading, PA. This two-year fellowship is open to all veterans, Gold Star families and active duty spouses.” The initiative reflects her support for military families.

In another post on June 2nd, Houlahan reported on feedback received during a Seniors Forum held in Coatesville. She noted the concerns voiced by attendees regarding federal programs under former President Trump’s administration: “We had a full house at our recent Seniors Forum in Coatesville…President Trump needs to keep his hands off (and DOGE out of!) Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security.” Her remarks highlight ongoing debates over healthcare policies.

Chrissy Houlahan’s involvement extends beyond legislative duties as she engages with constituents on critical issues ranging from public safety to veteran affairs.
