Chrissy Houlahan, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Pennsylvania’s 6th district since 2019, recently posted several updates on her social media accounts addressing both national and local issues.
On January 15, Houlahan criticized the current administration’s stance on free speech, stating, “The continued attacks from this administration are a clear message that the only acceptable free speech is what comes out of the White House.” This post was made at 18:28 UTC.
Later that same day, Houlahan informed residents of Coatesville about an upcoming public meeting organized by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). She wrote at 20:15 UTC: ” Coatesville On January 22 at 6:00 PM, the EPA is hosting a meeting about the Superfund site at Old Wilmington Road and planned construction work at the site to install a new water main and residential water service lines as part of the Remedial Action. Meeting details are”
On January 16, she highlighted local healthcare achievements in her district. At 14:25 UTC, Houlahan posted: “According to U.S. News & World Report, two of the top maternity hospitals in the Commonwealth are right here in PA-06! Paoli Hospital and Reading Hospital were ranked in the top 20 for maternity care.”
Chrissy Houlahan has served as a member of Congress for Pennsylvania’s 6th District since replacing Ryan Costello in 2019. She was born in Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland in 1967 and currently resides in Devon. Houlahan graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1989.
